Fetch data from GUS registry option
Data entry automation is the key to an efficient CRM. Instead of manually entering addresses or REGON numbers, you can use the built-in feature to fetch data directly from the GUS registry. This not only saves time but, most importantly, guarantees that your customers’ data is correct and up-to-date.
Where to find the Fetch data from GUS function?
This function is available directly in the customer addition or editing form:
- Click the four-dot icon in the top menu of the system.
- Go to the CRM section and select Customers.
- When creating a new customer or editing an existing one, you will see the Fetch data from GUS button in the upper right corner of the form.

How to fetch data step by step?
- Enter the identifier: After clicking the “Fetch data from GUS” button, a window will appear where you need to enter the company’s NIP, REGON, or KRS number.
- Fetch information: Click the “Fetch” button. The system will automatically search the GUS registry and find the matching company.
-
Select data to complete: Before saving, you will receive a summary window. You will see a comparison of data from GUS and the current values in the system (if they already exist).
- You can select which specific fields you want to complete (e.g., just the City or the entire address along with the NIP and REGON).

- Apply: After selecting the appropriate fields, click Apply selected. The data will be automatically pasted into the customer form.
Why is it worth using this function?
- Instant filling: Completing the entire address, NIP, and REGON takes literally seconds.
- Elimination of typos: By fetching data from the official registry, you can be sure that the company name or address is entered correctly, which is crucial, for example, when issuing invoices.
- Convenience: You don’t have to switch between browser tabs to check the company’s data – everything happens within Sugester.
Tip: This function is particularly useful when your customer base mainly consists of businesses (B2B). If you are adding a new business customer, first enter their NIP, and then fetch data from GUS – this will save you from manually filling out the form.
